ACE woes (again)

I have a weep from the rear ACE pipes on our fairly doggy old Disco2.
Is it feasible to drain the system and do away with the pump as the ebay ad for a pulley kit suggests? Having enjoyed fitting front pipes I am not a great ACE fan.

Surely the antiroll bars will not work correctly?
It is used on road only, but tows a trailer.
Any wisdom will be gratefully received.

This reminds me of a corner I took the first time I properly drove a D1 (years ago), not fast, not tight, but I got caught out by the roll.

Same corner on Saturday in my D2, flat and relaxed, so much nicer.

And when my ACE went into limp mode once that rolled for England as well.

(Idling, knackered belt, so not enough pressure. Only time it happened)

It does feel less stable now, come to mention it.
Yellow light came on yesterday, will check fluid later today.

I guess replacing the pipes (are they really £200?) to the rear ram is the best option.
