Accelerate and black smoke appears (L332 TDV8 3.6 2007)

Hello everyone,

Me again! haha

Help........please......

So when I only accelerate very quickly and hit high speeds a warning sign appears on dashboard and then I can only drive 50 miles an hr but then I park up, turn the car on and off then it works perfectly and no warning signs.

Also when I drive around 90mph and above, towards 3000 revs, black smoke appears from the rear of the car but once i slow down to let say 80 and below there is none at all??

Range Rovers are such hassle. haha

Also, anything above 70 is illegal, so it is a built in device to alert the police that you are speeding.
