I had a seal replaced and now get this message, I left it with the garage which swapped the seal (they forgot to MOT) and found out when they did the seal they unbolted the sensor from the hub.

Any ideas on how to fix this please?

They might not have tapped the sensor back into the hub the whole way...

Unfortunately removing the sensor from an old hub can also make it hard to ever get it working again. ~ £50 for a cheapo replacement hub with sensor...

No clue why they'd unbolt it to replace a seal though, the hub and half shaft can be withdrawn right out of the axle with the sensors intact both front and back, the sensor just has to be unplugged from the loom.

They removed rather than unplugged.

As to new hub not until I can afford it, as I have spent tooo much recently

plus 1

Hub will be £67, so at least I have a backup plan.

But the local LR indy will charge 120 to fit

I'd say that's your garages issue to sort, they didn't need to touch the sensor. I'd ask them to rectify and then never use them again as they clearly have no idea what they're doing!
Changing hub is diy, (plenty of guides about) and is an hour MAX, especially for a garage

Wellll

I took wheel, caliper, bracket, disc off, sensor looked at a funny angle, removed sensor, refiited the two removed shims, cleaned and cleaned.

TAPPED the sensor back into position reassembled. While a son did up the wheel nuts I reset codes.

Did the wheel nuts.

Yellow light on hard acceleration judder under heavy breaking.

ALL WORKS
