Another one for you esteemed Rangie gurus.
My lovely motor has recently developed a high-pitched whine, but its of an annoyingly intermittent nature. It appears to be coming from the OSF wheel, and it doesnt occur until Ive driven a few miles. Even then, it'll happen for anything up to 15/20 seconds, then it'll stop.
During the week, my blue beauty is only driven around 10 miles a day between home and the train station, so the whining noise only gets to happen when I give it a decent run over the weekend.
I did originally think that maybe it was maybe a sticking brake caliper, but it often occurs when I havent even applied the brakes for a while, so Ive discounted that theory.
Any ideas, folks?
