A Question

Hippo 1.8 2001.
Just sorted manifold out, got it welded many thanks to Buckley Brothers in Blackburn.
Over the last couple of weeks i have noticed some hesitation in the engine, almost like a very mild juddering when driving, the revs do not dip and the hesitation is only for a second or so. Also on occasion when i have started up the engine management light has come on and the engine idles at what can only be described as erratic, this has cleared after a couple of minutes and the management light goes out. I have changed the HT leads, on changing the leads i noticed one of the spark plugs to be corroded, No3 going from left to right (as looking at the front of the engine) the others were clean. On test drive the hesitation was still there, any one any ideas would be much appreciated.

If the EML has been on & then cleared thier is a good chance that a fault code has been saved, if you know someone with an OBDII scanner just hook it up & it should tell you where the fault is, don't go to a main stealer they charge anywhere from £40 to whatever you have in your bank account !! for a 15 minute check.
