What a brilliant day! Met up at lunchtime, headed off from chew valley lake around a few lanes by North Widcombe - first incident was finding quite a large fallen tree completely blocking the way and after watching a tiny vitara struggle to get round it i figured the disco just wouldn't fit!
So... tow rope and diff lock engaged it made short work of said tree, after removing a large limb with a satisfying crack the rest of it was dragged clear of the lane and conveniently placed elsewhere :)
Next lane.. Another fallen tree! This time with the vitara anchored to it spinning its wheels going nowhere. Tow rope out again... without even the hint of wheel spin the disco pulled the vitara and the tree clean out the way!
Mr Vitara decided to join us for the rest of the afternoon and we headed to ringspit lane for a bit of a play, after pulling our shogun buddy free of its new found seesaw position the mitsi later returned the favour when i got a little too ambitious driving the wrong way up a clearly one way drop in! A great afternoon was had by all until the shogun's clutch gave up the ghost further up ringspit. I hope the AA finally turned up Luke! lol

Discovery 2, fallen trees nil. :D Good times...

Nice. Last time I tried to move a tree, it snapped the tow rope! It was only rated to 2t though. What type of rope did you use?

Yeah, probs too much resistance. I dunno whether I should buy some straps instead.

And dont for get that they get covered in SH1T, so there rate falls with use and age....... I wash and let mine dry after each trip out to remove all the mud, well as much as I can.
