A.C. question

I have to replace my ac condenser and fan. Break in the line feeding it.

Will I need to replace my dryer since it has been exposed? Someone mentioned it to me after we found the crack in the pipe leading to condenser.

Does this sound right? Or should I just go ahead and order the condenser sans dryer. Any Intel would be appreciated.

I would say its a good move, just think how long its been cracked and how much crap has got in the system.
