98 disco 1 front brakes.

Hi all,

Needing a little info about the front brakes on my disco. Due to the flare nuts on the jump pipe from caliper to flexi hose being corroded I had to cut the copper pipes to get the calipers off. I intend to buy 3/16" copper pipe and flare it myself but I'm not sure of the flare nuts that I need. I know they are 3/16" m10 x 1. However there is the option of "long" or "short" so........ which do I need?

I would go with the long if not sure, as they should do the job anyway and there is nothing for them to catch on if protruding slightly. To be honest they are cheap and not really worth the effort unless you love doing everything yourself.
