Is it possible to remove the transfer box on its own from my above V8 Disco. I've had a look underneath it and other than disconnecting the gear shift, speedo, handbrake, both props and about 6 nuts / bolts it looks like it will detach, only looking at pulling it off the autobox shaft it seems there's not enough room to slide it back without hitting the back of the tunnel / floor?
The reason for doing it is to a) fix a leak from the seals & b) put a new input gear & shaft whilst there.
