91 ranger 2.9 dead, 302 conversion?

I was wondering if anyone with a Ranger has replaced their 2.9 with a
302. I saw a few things on web about this being a posible conversion
but haven't found many details.

Pointers to info would be helpfull.

Lycos address is a spam trap.

Advanced Adapters...they are very helpfull....junk your auto or manual and go
with an AOD or C6 depending on if you highway run or not. I personally would
replace it with a 4.0 V6 and supercharge it.
