90 trouble.possible wheel bearing?

a few weeks ago when going down the road my 90 made a large bang and felt like something was grabbing/jamming i stopped and it was fine again. when i got home i checked for any play on the wheels and prop shaft and there was non. I then did 100/150 miles and it just did it again.

Do you think it may be a wheel bearing or something serious ?

did it pull to one side? if so i would say wheel bearing if not than maybe an input bearing in one of the diffs allowing the pinion and crown to de-mesh (if thats even a word?) for a moment.
