90 steering box

hello
will a steering box from a 200tdi disco fit a 90TD?? or will i have to swap the drop down arms?? many thanks

200 disco is the same they changed the arms from 300's onwards

The box removed from the 90 has the ball on the drop down arm which also has a slight off set on the arm, the box from the disco 200 has a hole in the drop down arm which is straight, is this ok to use.

or do i just swap over the ends from the drag arms??????

if the arm is straight it is a later one, you will have to change the lower arm on the box for your 90 one

many thanks for this info, tried today to remove the arm from the 200box, had it on a hydraulic press up to 60tonne, no movement, are they always that tight to remove????

yes very tight, the 2 that i have replaced with new boxes came with the arms already fitted as i tried to remove the first one and gave up
