I know this has probably been done to death but I just wanted to check what I want to do is viable. I have just got my first Land Rover ever after spending years having old air cooled Vws.
I am removing the inward facing rear bench’s as I know they aren’t safe for kids, what i’m plan to do is fit a double seat with in built 3 point seat belts out of a mini bus. I plan to fit these rear facing against the bulk head and fix through the floor using some rectangular box section steel under the floor as I know the tub metal isn’t that thick. Other option is to fit some Unwin bars and have the seats removable but can see them being a bit of a pain to fit . Thanks
