Hi...I bought a '96 Hard Top a few weeks back. Left over from my previous 90 (that was stolen) I have the four rear seats, seat belt bar and fixing bars. So have had genuine rear side windows fitted along with seats and belts. Just need the interior trim at some point

Do any of you guys have experience of registering as a station wagon which should make me LEZ compliant. Not sure if I need to get approval from VOSA or MOT station or just apply

Any thoughts much appreciated

Take it easy

Paul

There used to be, maybe still is, a section to fill in on the log book to change stuff like body type, colour etc.

I think one of the previous owners of my 90 went down this route as it was made as a HT, but now has side windows etc. It just needs the plastic window surrounds to finish it off.

I have a LEZ certificate style letter in the archives, so mine is LEZ compliant. I'll dig it out this evening and let you know the details.

Ok, I've dug out the letter to the previous owner from TFL. It appears you have to register the vehicle with them and that any exemption lasts for 4 years. There is a website quoted in the letter: www.tfl.gov.uk/lezlondon where you can register etc.

Once your registration is successful and the vehicle is "accepted", I expect you will receive a letter to that effect.

I hope this helps!
