Hi all,

Haven't posted on the Defender section before but as off wednesday I am the owner of a '94 200tdi 90 Hardtop.

I am planning to convert it to a county and am currently looking for the sliding windows.

That aside, what else do I need? I can't find roof linings anywhere online, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, if anyone has any recommendations on who I can get to carve up the sides of my landy to put the windows in, that would be great. Preferrably in the Surrey/West Susses/Hampshire area.

Thanks all, will post pics when she arrives.

You can get sliding windows from paddocks.
Roof lining, there is a place in wales (can't remember the name) and they do a fibreglass lining that looks just like original pvc, im looking to get some myself. Other than that i ripped out my saggy original roof lining and have the bare roof inside, nice and clean cream.
I also went to a carpet shop and bought £20 of cheap car type carpet and fitted it over wheel arches, bulkhead etc. Looks tidy.
Putting in the window isn't that difficult, Measure about fifty times and cut once as they say!!!

hi, i converted my 90 with slide windows to rag top so i have two sides with the windows and a roof lining knocking about, (in derbyshire i am affraid!), the roof lining would come up a treat it proberly needs a scrub and one of the windows needs the felt runner putting back in which i guess is a glass out job!

you can have them for £50ish if thats any help

Chris
