Thought it about time I joined.
I have a 1968 Lightweight IIA but with a 5 bearing original engine used mainly in Wiltshire on our superb Greenlanes (treading lightly of course).
Took my 2004 D2 to Morocco last October, superb trip, did not put a foot wrong (did boil the clutch fluid and warped the exhaust manifold having run flat out down part of the Paris Dakar route), but that was down to driver over enthusiasm!
Just swapped my wife's 1.2 VW Polo for a 2002 L322 with LPG conversion. 4.4 litres much more fun.
My wife also runs a B&B in Wiltshire 500 yards from a Greenlane. Would love to see more Green Ovals visit us (we have space for 10 vehicles - caravan possible and 3 double rooms) Check out www.woodgatefarmhousebandb.co.uk
