Hi Everyone,

I have a 5 door TD4 and have just purchased a brand new body kit for it (STC7911).

needless to say it arrived without any instructions, so I am wondering if I need to trim the existing wheel arch mouldings or will the kit fit over them?

Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received :)

Cheers,

Mike

looks like it glue's over the arch !
Important info .

Temp should be 16-30 C

Hi Mondo,

Thanks for the reply, I will get the promoter pen tomorrow from a dealership. I have also noticed that I may need screws on the rear rear arches kit and the front arch sections.

Cheers Chap,

Mike

No probs!
hope it goes well mate !

Just glad you dint get the body kit that turns em into a corrugated shed look-a-like

Is that the one with the horizontal stripes running along the front and rear ends? if so then I am glad too, I really needed something to stop stone chips, parking dents and to generally protect the bodywork (Epson Green is not a colour that likes scratches) and my kit looks as if it will do the job well.

Cheers,

Mike

Yup! thats the one

looks ferkin horrendous !;)

Agree totally, not my cup of tea neither, wife now says that the existing protection strips look ok with the added kit, not to sure myself

Thanks for your advice, all taken onboard!

just ignore me mate !

yer better off listnin to "the wife" :D

God dont say that!! it will give her ideas above her staion :D

She has a point though because the kit doesnt go to the existing protection strips and I am worried in case the new one wont protect that area.

We shall see, and I will post a few pics when the experts have repaired the balls up that I make of fitting it :D
