4x4 tranny problems

my 2001 chevy blazer will not go into four wheel drive. the indicator
blinks for a minute, then goes back to 2 HI. is this an electrical
problem? or mechanical?

You're going to have to separate the 2 systems from each other and detertime
whether it is electrical, mechanical or both.

The system uses very finicky system to kick into 4 wheel drive, many web
sites offer a thandle that replaces the automatic system.
