I need a new TOY!!!
I have two chevy 4x4s and want to build up some thing smaller. The older
Zukes look like the way to go. Don't know a thing about these 4x4s and I

Ditto the previous reply about Calmini
Here are some links.
I'm slowly doing mine up.
So far just the snorkel and some engine mods.
But soon she'll have the Calmini 5 inch lift and replacement suspension, a
larger exhaust, extractors, decent sized tyres, and front and rear
airlockers or the equivalent. (possibly Aussie lockers when they finish
producing the zook version)
Then they'll be no stopping her
Anyway here's the few links I've found so far.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/bigsamurai This is a must see if you intend to
do up one.

great choice on the cal-mini super 5 inch lift. i assume you mean the
kit w/ shackle reverse kit and all. that is what i put in mine. i also
recommend a centerforce clutch, as the big tires will smoke the stock
one in a hurry. i have since sold mine, but the one thing i never did
which i shoulda is the rock crawler t-case gears, that woulda brought
mine back to life. -pete

thanks for your opinion, i still prefer my own, but i guess thats why
they call them opinions! i had good luck w/ my cal-mini purchases and
think others will too. as for the cluth being smoked by oversized tires-
duh! tell me something i don't know. but a performance clutch IS a
performance clutch. if you had an engine w/ some cubes to it (not a 4
cyl, i am talking about pure detroit iron w/ some horses) you might
agree. you don't have to agree w/ me thats what makes america great.

"Spool Down ".....there TURBO!!.....I'm just tellin folks what works on
the Trail......We WHEEL Every week in 3 years I have put 113,000 mile on
my Zuk....63,000 of that has been off-road.....I said "Certerforce
Clutch in a Zuk = wasted $$$$$"...I run one in my 68 Chevy P.U. "383
Stroker" 420hp to the ground thru a "Centerforce" But the stock clutch
from (Checker,Auto-zone,pep-boyz) all have a lifetime warrenty....we get
about 30-40,000 outa' one with HARDCORE abuse on the trail in a
Zuki.....how much Wheelin' have U done in a Zuk? it Takes a lift 31's or
bigger and some gears just to get to my house : ) we won't even say
what it take to run my 5+ Trail in my front yard : )

club several of them "Tried" the "Famous" Cal-mini ' lift years
ago.....what do U plan on doin' with the "Fangs" that will stick out of
the front? Springs last maybe 1 season then they start
snappin'.....(never Broke a Stock Zuk spring,or a CJ,or a YJ) and
Bro......they just won't flex.....plus the cost OMG!!!!......we can set
one up Better for 8 bucks!!!! and it will out-flex & out-ride ANYTHING
CALMONKEY MAKES!!! R U goin' 2 MOAB next week....if ya' R U can see us
there : ) "The Zuks of Arizona" C ya in MOAB.......lets run that
Cal-mini lift thru Metal Masher or HELLARADO...lol
