  • Hi guys, new to the group just bought my first Land Rover. Is there anyone in the Nottingham area that could enable the 4x4 info screen on my 54 Plate SE?

Why not buy the correct Diagnostic. You will need it sooner than later.
Thats what I did.
Most readers are VIN locked now so you need someone with an open one.
Bit of a cheek anyway with your first post on here without an Introduction:(
Would have been nice to here about your 54 HSE in a bit more depth but hey ho
some are givers and some are takers!:D

I managed to update mine the other day

My apologies bigeeeee thought I'd put an intro on when I joined the group must have got distracted and forgot to post. As I said this is my first Land Rover always wanted one. Only had it 3 days and loving it may change my mind when it comes to a service lol

welcome to the mad house, lol

nice D3 there , we've only had ours a little while , when it comes to service i felt like that at first , just got a few. ore cylinders that's all

would highly recommend the iid diagnostic, brilliant bit of kit , will do anything the dealers can , will pay for itself in no time at all, seeing they charge £100 everytime to plug there's in

think there's 4x of us D3 owners now and all finding out new bits etc so ur not alone :D:D

may i ask what did u have before u got this one plse

gary

Hi Gary. Thanks I'll look in to the iid. As I've said this is my first Land Rover always wanted one. Got fed up with everyone telling about all the problems they have and made the jump. I had a Nissan x-trail before was a bit of a tip and too much was starting to go wrong but never let me down in the 5 years I had it

hi mate

like every car, they all have there problems and qwerks, just depends in how much time u wish to put into it

like many of us in here having had landies for over 25 x years and gone through the different models

always nice to see another landy owner :D

ps yes the iid are very good, are around £400 quid

Motor looks nice - whatever you do, don't let Gary near your side steps!
Do you have the clock on the dash yet, that's another job on the list if not again can be updated via the IID.
Beats the little one on the radio fascia
