4x4 90 ford ranger just quits wont start

i was driving my 90 ford ranger xlt 4x4 when what seems for no reason just
died and would turn over but wouldnt start not sure if starving for fuel
or not getting fire how do i determine and then what?

Check fuses, check fuel pump relay, check fuel pressure, check
distributor, rotor and coil. IIRC this truck as a basic computer,
which does show some codes so scan it too.
