I feel a bit of a tit asking this, but are there any implications with changing the engine oil in a 38a.
Ie, ok to drain, replace filter, refil and start up.
I am intending to have a proper service carried out soon, but the oil is a bit grubby and I dont want to leave it in, even if the new oil is only in a week or so. It can only help to clean it up a bit me thinks.
I have done loads of maintanance in the past on other vehicles so this does seem a dumb question.
However as I am aware of the need for specialist attention on these RR's, I thort it best to check whether there could be any issues with run back from the oil pump etc.
