Hi guys ,
my range rover p38 4.0 is overheating after being driven for 20 -30 mins , not had any time to look at it yet , but wondering if this is a common thing or any common things to check

water pumps and leaking thermostats.
Liners and head Gaskets.
But try being less lazy and look first-your mother does not work here

Fan or radiator also, Best get a garage to sniff test with Exhaust Gas Analyser over header tank- if HC jump = head gasket/liners.
Does the top radiator hose go rock hard?

hi guys , sorry for late reply , was working till 3 am , the top hose isnt getting hard , going to take fan belt off and make sure the water pump turns ok , and going to take thermostat out and see if that helps , if that fixes it il replace it

you can not run a v8 without a stat, are you sure you have not got a water leak. you wil need to take the water pump off to look at it propply..
