Festive Greetings!

I can get the landy into low ratio without any problems, but when I push it over to diff lock in either low or high range, it doesn't seem to want to go, It certainly won't engage and just refuses to stay on the LHS (the difflock dash light doesn't come on either). Any quick checks I can do to narrow down whether I can fix it or not? Ive tried it rolling forward, clutch in, clutch out, reversing it slowly etc. but it doesn't make any difference.

Thanks
Ken

its a simple pivot lever and selector in the box is spring operated in that lever puts tension on the spring so its likely just lever at top seized

If its not seized it could be worn. The pivot pins and nylon bushes were worn on mine, and the one pin had been replaced with a small bolt which had loads of play in it.

The top pivot is also adjustable and mine needed winding out to give some more leverage to make the diff lock pivot.

All pretty simple to figure out.
