300tdi Thermostat bung thread size

Does anyone know the thread size of the 300tdi Thermostat bung, mine has snapped off it in and I've cleaned it out but need to re tap the thread just to clean it up.

same as brass rad ones from the sheds. 1/2inch bsp iirc

Yes it was a plastic one.

proper landy code is ERR4686, but like i said it's a standard 1/2 brass home radiator fitting so all plumbing places stock em. you'll need to buy an oring/seal separately though, or use the one off the plastic.

btw, the 300 radiator is the same, so if that's plastic, replace that too

I got a brass one, fitted perfectly thanks. Didn't get an o ring seal so i will have to get one, the old one didn't have one on either.

oh right, maybe it's a tapered fit and doesn't need one. i just bunged one on anyway.

keep an eye on it just incase it leaks under pressure without one

they have o rings as std and so do the brass replacements
