My 300TDI decided to stop pump fuel into its self the other day which makes me sad. At first I thought it was just the lift pump as it wasn't pumping any fuel at all but now after changing that and seeing fuel pumping to the diesel injection pump and out the return it still isn't pumping fuel out into the cylinders. I'm now thinking that the diesel injection pump is buggered????
Has anyone had this problem and how did they fix it??? I'm hoping that i don’t need to replace the whole injection pump as this looks a mission
Engine will run on carb cleaner through the air intake so i know its nothing terminal!
