Evenng all!
Has anyone experienced excessive fuse corrosion in the fuse box? Over the last 4 months I have had to change 6 fuses due to being corroded away. To the point that half the blade of the fuse has had to be scratched out.
Any ideas?

the modern way plated metal's usually steel and lack of copper in most of the components fitted to vehicles ,as the plating is sacrificial due to DC current and moisture providing the same reverse plating conditions eventually wears leaving a powder residue in it wake, hence most manufacturer recommend using a specific lubricant (part No BAU5811 in Land Rovers case) on connections and terminal when removed or at set intervals usually service schedules for battery terminals

Most people dont ever see the vehicles electrical systems as serviceable items, so many Landys running around out there with dim headlamps and asthmatic heaters!
