Drivers side seat switch had stopped working properly and would only allow me to recline my seat...... after a quick search I followed all of the guides on here and hey presto the switch is working better then ever now

If you do have to fix one of these buggers make sure that you do it on a tray... you can thank me when its done

Don't suppose you have a link to the guides do you just to see what I did wrong last time I tried to fix mine?

I learned the hard way last time I took mine apart I spent 20mins hunting in the foot well for a ball bearing that I eventually found stuck to the end of one of the sodding springs!

I did the same -- I thought it was a case of buying a new switch assembly when I took mine apart springs,contacts and ball bearings everywhere but after I found that link hey presto job done - I did lose 1 ball though, but Mr magnet came to the rescue
