I was planning to keep and rebuild, but decided to sell them instead as I don't think I'll get round to it.
The engine ran well when removed 3 months ago, but the oil pressure used to drop on long motorway runs. Never dropped on normal roads or short motorway runs. I changed the oil pump which made no difference. I suspect the main bearings need replacing as it doesn't knock or smoke so the rod bearings must be fine. It's not just the pressure switch as I had a gauge fitted.
Mileage is 210k miles. Timing belt changed in the last 5k miles and new lift pump. Turbo, fuel pump and power steering pump included but no alternator.
Will take £160 for it collected from Preston.
Also have an r380 and disco transfer box. Worked fine until the car was stored, then the clutch seized and in an attempt to free it, the gearbox no longer selects gears. Transfer box is still good as far as I know.
Selling both for £40 as spares/repairs as the transfer box alone is worth that.
