Time has come to sell my disco for something a bit more refined. So would be interested in swapping for newer 4x4 or estate car petrol or diesel worth up to 2500ish
Important stuff:
145000 miles, 1994, manual, located in Stevenage. will put full 12 months mot on for new owner, tax runs out end of January.
This land rover was originally RAF queens flight, my friend bought it out of the RAF and has always been well looked after with regular services etc. just had a service with new oil and filters. The engine and running gear are very good with no horrible noises all gears and difs engage properly.
Being honest as possible this is a 20 year old motor that has been well used but not abused. It does have its small problems, sun roofs sealed shut, one of the alpine windows leak, electric mirrors don't work, spring on gearbox gone so gear stick is always pushed to one side- this does not affect the gearbox just means gear stick is not central i was gonna sort it but got used to it very quickly. Boot floor needs some tlc patches not complete replace job, Not mot failure though. Headlining has been removed, painted and replaced but looks pretty good.
This disco is no oil painting but very reliable and never let me down little bit of tlc and could be spot on. Going for MOT on 7th Jan, if you want it before will knock £100 off the price.
Looking for around £1500.
