hello been on here asking why my L series 98 freelander was revving itself and when unplugged the maf it stops. tried 3 new mafs but same on all 3 so was a bit stumped
well out on a drive the temp went up into the red so pulled over topped it up and carried on few miles later (20) stopped and checked it out and was empty again but the temp stayed half way (normal) so have topped it up few times now and it going somewhere but not in the oil as far as i can see.
would the h/g make it rev itself???
would unplugging the maf stop it if it was h/g failure???
