3" Exhaust fabrication

hi chaps, got a series 3 88, withg a 2.5td from a 90 in it,
i have bought the 3" downpipe off the turbo, but i dont want to restict it again to 2", so i want to use a straight through 3" exhaust ending up in the pto hole in cross member,

2Q's do i need to upport exhaust other than pto hole and engine mount ?

and has any one done this / got photos etc to help ?

I made one for a mate so it came out of the pto hole but we took it off soon after cos the fumes were drawn into the back and gassed the passengers lol

haha brilliant ! he cant of been driving fast enough !, im sure my passengers will love the chip fat smell of bio !, did you mount it any where else other than pto ?

Yeah i used the original mounting bracket thats on the chassis and just modified the rear section of the exhaust to come out the back.

did it matey, used 2m of flexy pipe from parkers £20, can you give me the guidance on straight through pipes ? as that is what ive done ive heard its illegal
