hi guys i was changing the trans fluid on the rear diff and i realized there wasnt a magnetic plug.the square plug that appears on the front diff and underneath the gear box.so i filled it via the filler plug which was right on top on the axle and the hole was really small.filled about 2 litres and i thought that perhaps that was not the right way since diffs are usually only about 1.5litres.so guys what is the proper way to fill the rear diff?and also for the gear box,i fill in through the magnetic plug hole right?the square one?

The plug is not magnetic.
The little "plug" on top is a breather, not a filler plug.
Fill using the plug with a 1/2sq hole in it.
If yu have overfilled the axle, the oil is likely to leak past your seals on to your brakes.

thats the problem!i was looking for the square filler plug like the one on the side of the front diff.but on the back diff there wasnt a filler plug!only a breather plug and drain plug.i looked at the manual and they didnt specify either =(

ok guys i found the fill plug it was on the other side of the diff!and i noticed that the front diff had a fill plug near the shaft and one more square one facing the front.so it actually has 2 fill plugs?

im also looking to flush the gearbox oil and i noticed there were 2 drain plugs underneath the middle of the truck one was for the gearbox and one for the transfer box if im not wrong. however i only see a fill plug for the gearbox(the one nearer to the front of the truck).where is the fill plug for the transfer box?

Theres a level plug on the back of the t/box between the main shaft cover and the output. You can also fill it from the top plate above the mainshaft if you can access it.
