Thanks to bennybenny for providing the link to the proposed new MOT manual which takes effect in Jan 2012.
I have repeated it below.
After looking through it I should have no worries regards passing the test next year.
All the rumours about ecu re-maps, tuning boxes and missing cats, seem to have been just that - rumours.
There appears to be nothing that gives real cause for concern.
