2010 D4 Restricted Performance

Hi All
I have a 2010 D4 that has been giving me an error message for a while. I pushed the vehicle the other day to well over 180km/hr and it went into limp mode. When I restarted it was all fine, but now throws an error message every now and then.
It comes and goes and doesn't really affect the performance as such. In the mornings at the initial start all is good. As soon as I start again, whether 2 minutes to 2 hours, the Restricted Performance message is displayed with a yellow triangle. Later on or a couple of starts later the message will disappear only to pop back again at some stage...
I have a little diagnostic thingy and the message that keeps coming up is "water in the fuel sensor". Could this be the issue?
Any advice appreciated. We don't have a LR agency on the coast, so I haven't had a professional opinion.

By the way, I am a Landy fan and currently have my fourth LR. Very happy with the vehicle and am sold for life!! Should never have sold by other ones, but one learns with experience..!! Thank you for the advice.
