Ive owned a '92 200tdi 90 for around a month now 
I bought it knowing that it had a dodgey starter solenoid which wasnt engaging somtimes but recently its started to happen more.
What would be best, try to rebuild it or to get a recon ?
Either way, whats the easiest way to get the unit out ? Ive had a quick go working with the haynes manual but i cant seem to get enough access.
