Wanted 200TDi Short Engine / Block **NOW SORTED THANKS**

As title, I am looking for a 200tdi short engine / block as close to DE13 postcode (Burton on Trent) as possible and as cheap as possible lol.

There was a few full engines on fleabay the other week, might be worth looking, but depends what you mean by cheap.

A lot of the ones on eBay look like they have been under water for months. I can get a rebuilt bottom end for £600, so if I am going to do it my self it would need to be considerably cheaper than that.

The problem with getting a full engine is that you don't actually know what history it has or hasn't, so I would rather get a bottom end I can rebuild myself or one that has already been reconditioned.

Ok got ya, is a 300 out of the question may have a lot more choice. Just thinking out loud good luck.

Had thought about that option but then I need to change the engine mounts, and I can only find later ones that have an ecu and don't want to go that route tbh.

All sorted now thank you, managed to get a complete engine for £250 and very local.
