200tdi safari snorkel

Good morning,

I have been offered a 200tdi safari snorkel for a good price, the only problem i have is my Disco is a 300! Does anyone know if this will fit or can easily be made to fit, or am i going to have to say no and spend the rest of the weekend chuntering!

Also on the 300 disco you have to state whether you have the ABS model or non ABS as the ABS modulator is in the place where the non ABS snorkel comes through (the same snorkel will fit both the TDI and V8 300s its just a case of ABS or non ABS).

My mate sais you can "make it fit" but im really not too sure if things are in the way, your best bet is to open the bonnet, try to position the snorkel and see if you think its physically possible to "make it fit" - i mean if theres room all you have to basically do is make an airtight seal from the snorkel to the airbox that doesnt decrease airflow.

not that i helps but ive just sold the non ABS tdi one on ebay for £195 delivered so depending on how cheap this one is id be tempted to see if i could "make it fit".

200 bolts almost directly to existing air filter/system, 300 needs a bit of fettling ...
