Hi all,

A question from The southern hemisphere:)

I have just converted a 1993 V8 LSE to a 300Tdi, and having issues with the operation of the A/C compressor relay activation. The problem I have is a lack of Diesel electrical diagrams, as this engine was never released in this country. The V8 uses the engine ECU as an input to the compressor clutch relay via the black and slate wire, terminal 85, which gets earthed after a battery voltage signal to terminal ECU 21, from, I think the A/C logic relay. This seems to be an enigma as I can't locate it. There IS a small 4 pin plug adjacent to the old multiplug where the ECU harness used to come through the firewall, with a Black and Slate wire in it, I am now assuming that there is a relay or small harness that plugs in there for diesel models, is there anyone here who can help with any info? Please?

Thanks,

justin Cooper

Answer from the Nothern Hemisphere....

I have the Electrical Diagrams for the 1993 incl. the diesel...not sure if the wiring for the 200TDi and the 300TDi are the same, but you never know it might help it might not....

As attached...
