hi there I'm Jake, I've got a disco 200tdi recent head gasket change with gen gasket skimmed head new stem seals valve guilds and valves lapped in. The problem is being to p*ss me off with oil level rising . I've had the injectors tested buy professionals and there ok . I haven't yet done a compression test but will do .

Has anyone got any suggestions ? Your thoughts will be appriecated !

I had this problem with an '07 Berlingo. It turned out to be the injectors, one was leaking a small amount of fuel under pressure and was blowing it under the rocker cover and it was running into the sump.

Make sure your dipstick tube is a tight fit to the block, they can slip down further in to the engine and give a false impression of the oil level rising.

I think it's only the Defender engine that suffers from this, Disco 200 has a bracket from tube to inlet manifold.
It's fuel from the lift pump probably.
