200tdi engine

Have been offered a 200tdi disco engine in fully working order with 116000 miles on it for £400-£500. what do you think?

last one i bought was £350 with 94K and recent new cambelt, new alt and starter + 6 months old rad, the power steering parts and all pipework - and that was off ebay so i'd expect there to be cheaper ones around

Ok thanks. Can i use my rad ive already got in my defender td as its pretty new.

I paid 350 for mine off ebay c/w rad, intercooler, starter, alternator and all pipes cables etc.
Dont think you can use your old rad as intercooler wont fit in
some excellent threads on here re the conversion

you could use the TD rad but you'd have to bodge the location of the oil cooler - if it's nearly new sell it you'd be supprized how much they go for
