Hi folks,
I have a 200tdi 110, which I'd have loved to have put sawtooth alloys on (or boost)...however I don't want spacers putting strain on the bearings. What alloys are out there that have a big-enough off-set, that don't look like chavvy aftermarkets? (sorry!) Or, some decent steels? (I know, I'm going for a 'pretty' landy but hey, I'm a girl :p)

I quite like the boost alloys but guess these won't work either?

Thanks,
Rosie

Some wheels will reduce your turning circle, which lets face it isn't that great as standard.
The wheels you have are (likely) designed for the vehicle to maximise steering capability whilst maintaining structural integrity with the the rest of the system (hubs/axles and suspension).
Changing this happy relationship simply brings more issues and baggage to the party, issues and baggage that the car could do without ...

Like nails, paint them if you want to look 'pretty' ...

How will the wheel bearings know you have different offset rims vs wheel spacers??? ;)

Yet people have been running wheel spacers and deeper offset rims for something like 60 years and millions and millions of miles with no real issue from any of them.
