200tdi antifreeze

Hey,

Anyone tried using straight john deere cool gard in a 200tdi?? Been using it myself and has been getting up to temperature fine on long runs (just below half mark on gauge) but recently as soon as i leave on idle or drive in slow traffic for any time the temp can drop almost to the lowest point on the gauge in a matter of minutes. Just wondering if this is normal or a problem?? Brand new britpart thermostat possibly causing it? or maybe i need to dilute the coolgard??

Very slowly! Yes your probably right but will keep my fingers crossed as nothing has been simple so far with this machine! Will give it a check tomorrow, Cheers!

better that way than boiling up
