Hi sorry if this is a bit lengthy, trying not to miss anything, hope you guys might be able to help.
So I recently had an injector clamp break and shear off the two cam cover bolts that holds the injector in place. I've replaced the bolts, cleaned up the injector and put in new copper washer and rubber seal.
Started first turn of the key but it's spraying diesel out from the side of injector.
The injector does have some scoring marks on the body from where it must have been rattling around before I stopped the engine but I didn't think it'd be a problem as it's not the part that seals it. Also, do you think it's possible that I've damaged the cam cover, causing it not to seat properly. Sorry if any of this sounds vague, I'm not the best at explaining

I can't help, someone may be able to, but a pic, or even a video, may help people.
I'll try to get a video uploaded but I don't really want to soak my phone in diesel, it's like a fountain, quite impressive though, if it wasn't fuel it'd make a nice water feature

I'll get the injector back out tomorrow as I've just had a thought about the rubber o ring, I suspect it's the wrong size, it doesn't fill the groove in the injector. If I remember correctly, it should fit snug in the space and stand proud of the body of the injector. I don't have the old one, if someone can tell me the dimensions, mainly the thickness of the rubber, (its the right diameter) that would be much appreciated

If you think the problem is the O-ring seal then the link below will help you.

also make sure the seat in the port is nice and clean, and the injector is seated down properly, have you fitted the collar correct not upside down ? that as been done before.

Yep got the clamp in the right way, looking at the seals on your injector, mine definitely seem too thin, I'll order Bosch ones I think but I've never had problems with cheaper ones before. Thank you.

Well I think I've found the problem. Took the injector out and found I have another broken injector clamp, turns out that I've miss read the torque settings for the bolts, so when I've tightened down the injector nuts it's put too much stress on the clamp and snapped. New clamp on its way, bolts at the correct torque, I'll post an update o_O

Wow that must take some doing, it a nip up for me and then two 1/4 turns on each nut.
