Hi folks, new member here. Came across the group as looking for a solution.
Problem I had was that my 1.8 temp guage started to go from normal to high, red light and fans at full speed. This would even happen in the morning as soon as ignition turned on without engine running.
It would also do it whilst driving, pull over turn engine off and on restart back to normal.
I've replaced the temperature sensor. Bled the system and all good.
Now no issues with the guage, engine runs spot on. However the fans kick in as soon as ignition is on.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
