Given that both have similar M47 engines, does anyone know if the 320D injectors are the same as the FL1 TD4 ?

Part numbers should tell you, never assume anything with fuel injection.

Freelander 1TD4 injectors part 0445110049.

Rover 75 injector part 0445110030

Not a clue what BMW 320D are but most likely the same as the R40

You can use Rover 75 injectors in a FL1 TD4 as long as you change all four, they will not mix.

Same goes for TD4 in a R40 they do not mix.
