Hidden under plastic covers fitted between N/S sill edges and floor pan are the front to rear brake pipes

I had noticed the left to right pipe was a going to need replacing soon anyway but the pipes hidden by the covers I had no idea they were so bad - CHECK YOURS if you have an early L322 !

Yesterday one of mine burst (luckily at slow speed and was able to stop perfectly safely)

Today I stripped the covers off to reveal some very ripe pipework

I am replaceing the complete runs to each rear wheel along with the flexy hoses

Behind the N/S/F mudlfap and arch liner are 2 joints that makes the job a lot easier

Whilst I'm in the same area I will be fitting 2 x arb links and the top and bottom rear hub bushes

As stated this is all under plastic covers - on an MOT no covers can be removed

As an owner we can all remove them to check ourselves - I recommend you all do this SOON !

The exposed pipework was fine but I am changing them as well
 
Did mine a few months ago. Had it health checked whilst at the stealers and they mentioned it. Took it to Gibsons and done with no issues for a fraction of quote by stealers. I'd have checked ages ago but as she has only spent about 6 months of the last 2 years on the road, the other things getting done have got in the way of normal checks.

Hi I know it's a while ago but trying to do my lines I've got a 2005. But looks like lines go up behind the fuel tank. Did you need to drop your tank?
