Hi all and a Happy New Year,
It"s been a few months since I"ve needed to seek advice because I bought a Mitsubishi Shogun 3 door which I really like. However My Wife who is disabled has a problem getting in and out so I"ve put it up for sale and put my TD4 back on the road.
Problem is the battery went down because the Negative Battery Terminal Clamp was Loose and will not Tighten enough so I bought a new Battery and Clamp but how the hell do I fit the clamp. Obviously the factory fitted Clamp is in one piece so do I have to cut the clamp to get it off the Cable so I can fit the new one or is there any means of tightening the old clamp.
cheers

I'm presuming it's a FL1 TD4 if so the best way to deal with the clamp is to open it up with a screw driver, then put it on the post, making sure it is fully down then tighten up but do not over tighten, if you do it just rise up the tapped post, link below gives you the idea.
