SOLD.
2002 P38 Vogue SE (One of the last off the line)
69400 Miles
Epson Green, Lightstone Leather with green piping, carpets and mats
MOT 10th March 2015
LPG Converted
We buy any car latest valuation is £4175. Booked in for appraisal on Tuesday afternoon. Expecting them to beat the price down but checking out their location today 2 customers said that their on line valuation had been met, so who knows.
Anyway thought I would put it on here as I would rather it went to a good home than make a dealer a bit of profit. I appreciate Tuesday is not far away but I will cancel the appointment on Tuesday if any genuine interest is shown.
Very good condition with very low mileage for age. Largely down to the first owner of the 4 recorded who only covered 2900 miles in 3 years!!
Under my ownership of 3 years as well as routine maintenance it has had 4 x Arnott Gen 2 air springs fitted in 2013 (EAS works faultlessly). The BECM was overhauled by Rik the Pik of Landyzone fame. 4 x Boge shocks fitted in 2013. Auto box double flushed and filter renewed.
Emer multipoint LPG system professionally fitted in May 2012. It has an LPG tank in the spare wheel well that holds approx 65 (usable) litres. About £45 to fill which gets roughly 160 miles around the houses and 220 on a steady run. LPG serviced at 64700 miles. Documentation including invoices for installation and servicing all present along with a folder full of servicing and maintenance carried out on the vehicle.
The only issue (It is a P38!!) is the blend motor that controls the drivers side temperature is sticking, as in if you go from cold to hot it is slow to respond but will in the end, does the same when going back to cold. Passenger and distribution blend motors work 100% as does the air con which is ice cold.
Included in the price (which we buy any car will not be getting) are a spare set of 5 comet alloys fitted with Michelin's, currently running Avon winter tyres. An EAS reset tool, a BECM syncmate and 4 Terrafirma Shocks that have only covered 100 miles (SWMBO thought they were too firm!!)
So there we have it, not the cheapest but I think the price reflects the condition and low mileage.
Any questions just send me a PM and I'll respond as quick as I can. Can only do that from my PC as my phone is pre-historic so replies are not always instant.
Forgot to add car based in Rickmansworth Junction 18 of the M25
