Hi guys, this noise developed yesterday, but only at low speed. It started when I was driving slow along some lanes and the more twisty the lane the more this noise persisted. At first I thought it was cavitation and the PAS fluid was low, so I checked that and nothing untoward?? Anyway after then jumping on the dual carriage was this noise went. Tonight it did it again but worse and even longer, but only at low speed and when I'm doing a series of turns. It makes this loud whirring/gushing noise??
After driving as soon as I jump out to check, the noise disappears once the vehicle is at a stop. At a halt, if I rev and turn the steering wheel, nothing at all??
Any help would be appreciated. Personally I believe the PAS pump is on it's way out :doh:
